Seriously, what's going on with this forum?

I posted a thread the other night saying the board seemed to be screwed up worse than usual. Well, there has been no improvement since. The past few days the site times out more often than not while trying to navigate through it. Use to be only at night, now its all day long too.

Is it just me? Seems if it was doing it to everyone, the site's population would be plummeting. Im not trying to make a threat here, just simply stating the truth when I say if this continues much longer, Im afraid Im gonna have to start hanging out at DIY more, and here less. If at all. Im wasting far too much time these days just trying to read this forum.

Anyone have any info on what is going on?

It happens about once a week for me, i'll not be able to load pages well all day. Then poof, it works the rest of the week....could be just your location and bottlenecks to whereeverthehell this server is located.

Yes, I could have a bad 'hop' ... that's why I asked if it was just me instead of everyone. Chicago seems to be a real bad bottleneck for me to east coast based servers. But I dont know/remember where this server is located either. But in any event, doesn't look like the problem is isolated to me... which implies it is a server-side problem. Feels like a cyber attack, since it seems to happen at any time of the day (recently).

Last night it was bad for me.. Usually there's teh 2am lag, and it takes a little bit longer for a page to load..

Last night, it took 11 minutes for the **** page to load. No, I didn't sit there and wait for it, I left tab open and opened a new one.
