Serious question on speaker

I don't mind if I have to dish out more money if they have great SQ and impeccable reviews. Reviews mean a lot to me. From a wide variety of sources too.

yea youtube.com,heard about them on here and actually seen what 1 12 could do on there.even though bass is distorted on there,if you listen carefully, you can tell a difference between a cvx output vs a re sx sub output,at least i can.re sounds a whole lot better with more output.

for me its,how much power it can take over rms ratings, the abilty to get loud and sound good doing it and build quality being #1 for me.
no, speakers that are 50 rms can sound better than ones with double the rated power. Also, they can be just as loud.

You can't really judge a speaker unless you hear it, believe it or not, there are people who think the ID CTX65's ****. Yep, i've seen it

yea well i was only comparing a cvx to a re sx on there.served my purpose lol didnt mean for it to sound like.OH YEA lets go on youtube and see whats a bad azz speaker sounds like. lawls

people buy based on a few factors..

1. Sq or spl or a mix

2. Power requirements.. IE can they feed it what it needs

3. Will it fit.. You cant fit 4 18" in a civics trunk with required space..

4. Name Brand... Fi, Re, Aq, Rd, Id, Pg, JL etc etc etc...

5. Pricing comes in last.. once you find what you want then you try to find a good price.. and if you can't find what you wanted in your price range you either wait or go the next step down.. its better to buy the most expensive you can because you will only want more.. and the higher you get the longer it will tide your hunger off
