I guess I lucked out then?While we're talking about cables to avoid, let me add "Phoenix Gold" cables in there as well. I don't know who their OEM is, but for a $25 cable it was some of the worst construction I've ever seen. No strain reliefs on the connector, with a soldering job that looked like an immature monkey did it...the connectors were really $0.05 specials Mouser must have had on sale that day.
Even the basic Karma series interconnects I had were built better.
I got a 4 gauge amp kit from them a year ago. It came with a 17foot 2channel blue RCA cable. Been working fine for me.
