are the stinger pro's crap as well? They also have monster 16ft for 40.00. I cant find any rca's on mono's site.
After the shit i saw with the stinger's i had, i wouldn't buy anything from them - especially when i can get awesome 22g cables for LESS than the stingers from monoprice.

http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218

I mean look -25 FOOT long cables (way longer than needed for a car)

http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021803&p_id=2866&seq=1&format=2

3 would be 17.88 TOTAL plus shipping

or 12 foot cables - ok if you have a smaller car

http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021803&p_id=2865&seq=1&format=2

3 would be 9.60 TOTAL plus shipping

They use RG59U coax cables //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I measured the resistance of my new 25 foot cables when i got them vs. my stinger's. The 25 foot long monoprice cables had HALF the resistance of the 17 foot long stinger cables. And they actually had totally isolated grounds, unlike the shitty *** stingers.

Im in the market too and I looked at the mono's but man I definately believe in the "u get what u pay for" theory and I would hate tp run inexpensive RCA's and take my seats out and carpet etc...and then have them go bad. The price sure is tempting tho.... I have two amps that will both be in the trunk of my Benz..Mcintosh MC440 and JL Audio 1000/1 so Im gonna need (1) 4 chan and (1) 2 chan. How long have you used the mono's for?

Most stinger products are below acceptable quality. Their only goal is to look good on a dispaly shelf at Walmart.

You don't have to go up to MosterCable price either. Their stuff is usually good quality, but way over priced. There are lots of good prices and good quality inbetween those two extremes. I've heard good things about monoprice, but not actually used them. Also check out Knukonceptz.com . They have both good budget and high end cables.

Same goes for power cable.

While we're talking about cables to avoid, let me add "Phoenix Gold" cables in there as well. I don't know who their OEM is, but for a $25 cable it was some of the worst construction I've ever seen. No strain reliefs on the connector, with a soldering job that looked like an immature monkey did it...the connectors were really $0.05 specials Mouser must have had on sale that day.

Even the basic Karma series interconnects I had were built better.
