Senate Republicans block windfall taxes on Big Oil

what incentive do they have now to introduce alternative fuel's???? they would obviously lose billions of billions of dollars, which they are making now, if they were to "discover" an alternative fuel source....FYI ETHONAL was discovered in the 70's, when did it get introduced in to the market....I'm sorry, but you are truly the ignorant one.
Um how about because if they dont someone else will?? Are you really that dense? Ethanol has been used in gas since the 70s. IT still isnt a viable replacement solution, nor will it probable ever be, at least from corn. Sugar cane is another story, but I digress. Got anymore crazy theory left for me to debunk?

So the gov should tax google more and get in their business to find alternative ways to make cheaper search engines and ad placement //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
I mean, google's profit margins are larger than most if not all of the large oil companies....so they must be out of line too!
good reasoning duece, what are you 12

but yes, the higher their earnings the more tax you should pay

I'm not the one who said they need to get in their investment and alternative ventures, your boy Devil did.

one thing you fail to see is that oil pricing is based on speculation, speculation that is driven by a organization that bases its predictions on some arbitrary number, an organization that is government funded - but yet the government doesn't play a part in it.

The kingdom will work to ensure there will be no "unwarranted and unnatural oil price hikes that could affect international economies, especially those of developing countries," Madani said.

"There is no justification for the current rise in prices," he said.

who says it isn't a viable source, the oil company's - and sugar cane is more viable - then what's the problem - and I'm that dense

Are those speculators buying oil futures the government //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

...and sometimes when arguing with 12 year olds you have to bring it down to their level so they can understand. Sometimes even that doesn't work though.

Anybody that has tried to refine it. But Im guessing the oil companies are paying off third party scientists though.

And where are we going to grow all this sugarcane?

But I do agree you really are dense. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
