selling my old box and I'm not sure if this will work?

the box is 30 by 20 by 11. port is straight back with a 2x4 bracing right next to it.

from the 2 by 4 to the end of the box it is roughly 22 inches. the person buying wants to put in 2 12" dual subs. 175w rms each. I'm thinking i will have to mount them also diagonal from each other?? I'm putting a new face plate on the box because i had a single 15 in there before.

so would this work? or should i make them diagonal the other way? will it matter? box is tuned to 34.7 hz if it matters. any other ideas????

yeah its about 2.6 cubes right now. but adding another face should make up for the 2 subs. they only need a 3 or 4 inch mounting depth. person picked up the subs for free and just wants a decent box. and this would be better than a walmart box right?

any advice on the diagonal positioning of the subs? does it matter which if the one closest to the port is higher vs the one farther away? maybe the one closet to the port should due lower so its not in the way of the port?

You will want the subs as far away from the port opening as possible. So if you do this, you need to put the one closest to the port opening on the "bottom".

That should be fine. Most subs are more than 12" though, you might want to measure them to make sure they will fit.

they are cheap subs so i can't find the specs. they r a 175w rms 500w max dual brand sub. single 4 ohm i can't find cut out or the actual size

ik right lol.

I'm just trying to get rid of the box and let someone else use it. they won't sound amazing in any box cuz they r 26 buck subs. but hopefully this will be better than a prefab.
