Selling a wrecked car?

So my friend pretty much totaled his v8 mustang last week. The front end is pretty busted up, but the ****** and engine are fine. So instead of spending the money to get it fixed he's trying to see if he could get some money for it. Should he just put the car up on ebay or craigslist how it is now or should he try and sell it in parts or something? I'm just trying to help him out.

find a mustang forum. and thats a 5.0 car. gearguy needs 4.6 i assume

x100 part that shit out. Anytime a mustang (esp the older ones) enters the junkyard they are swarmed on right away. Salvage is only 200 dollars average. so yea its wayyyy better to part it out...

find a forum and get known, talk to people. If you have the tools, means to store it and the ability DEFF part it out. You have big items like eng/*****/axle, then you have samller stuff like, headlights, tails, interior peices, switches, sensors, im sure someone would buy the ECU and eng wire harness for a street rod or to make theirs a V8, keep that together, fenders, shit like seats, trunk lid, hood, etc. I know the whole front K frame with steering componets, control arms, etc. guys use in ther street rod projects. Put big shit on CL. Try CL and forums, last resort ebay.

edit- I do this alot, well, buy a pos for a few hundred, drive it a year, then part it out and whats left just cut it up with the sawzall, throw it in the back of a truck and haul it to the metal recycler

MD must be a lot higher than missouri, because we end up selling our cars for around 100 each on a good day.
