securing box without drilling through floor

my box with amp and subs attached to it weighs ~200 lbs if not more, never had it move even an inch during hard driving.

The carpet on carpet seems to hold very well on it's own.

Might also depend on the shape of your box, where the center of gravity is, as far as the box tipping.

Slam into the back of a car or get rear ended and see how fast your 200 pound box moves.
good point haha, never really thought of that. Would probably crush the sh it out of anything/anyone in the way.

Yeah if you get in a rollover with an unsecured box, it could kill you
So bolting down is the best, and one of the only ways, to properly secure your box?

Any one have any pics of their box bolted down? Something I would definitely like to do, now.

Yeah, I'm probally just gonnna drill through the floor. My concern was the gas tank, but I don't believe it'll be an issue. So should I use threaded rod with lock washers and nuts on either side? Or a bolt with the nut and lock washer on one side? And also what about sealing the hole as in rubber or vinyl washers? Or maybe silicone?
dude, i'd use velcro in your case. its stonger than most ppl think
