securing box without drilling through floor

either..just be sure clean around the penetration best you can,approx quarter sized enough for the sealant,in whichever you use,with alcahol,and rag,even dawn soap n water,then alcolhol..in order for an excellent seal,once it dries by next day,and you hit it with the paint/rustolium..itll be like a hard weld feel/help protect/repel from water ect.thats way i do mine

ok, so a bolt through the floor then regular washer, lock washer, nut? then clean it and apply sealant? then the rustoleum?

Stainless steel bolts/washers/locknuts would be your best bet. If you really think it's going to leak a dab of caulk or silicone underneath the vehicle to seal it up.

^^^this works great and with the ratchet strap it can be pulled without tools^^^

I thought about ratchet straps, and using the hooks that already exist in my floor, But I don't like the look of it. I want it to be more permanent looking I guess would be the term

I have an aq hdc3 18 in the back of my cherokee. When I go to install my 2200, Im going to be building an amp rack for it, and Im not sure how to secure the box/amp rack to the jeep if at all possible without running bolts through them down through the floor. and the box probably weighs about 100-110lbs. any help is appreciated.Thanks

you can use those straps that they use to secure lumber
