I noticed that JL's Stealthbox for my truck has 2 threaded holes in the bottom that you would screw a threaded rod into, drill 2 holes in the floor of the truck, and attach washers/nuts on the bottom of the truck to bolt it in place.
I think this will be more secure than L-brackets, as well as more theft-proof (we all know nothing is theft proof, all you can do is hope to slow them down).
With a 3/4" MDF sub enclosure, What is the best way to bolt these down? Are there 2 layers of MDF on the bottom, one with an EZ LOK/Hurricane Bolt/T-bolt, and the top sealed one screwed/glued to that? Or do you just drill right through the bottom of the box?
Thanks.
