Second Skin Audio FTL...LOL customer service

No one should have ever knew about the B-Stock stuff. If you can't sell it, I would have just given a little out with the bigger orders along with a note telling them why it looks like it does.. Like maybe 3-5 sheets with orders over a certain amount. But then again you can make something off of it by doing it the other way.

I imagine we'd all get tired of getting a lot of calls from kids with no money trying to low-ball you.

The guy probably has his business set up pretty stream-lined: You order, he fills it, done. You're asking him to go out of his way to do something different, and you want it at a discount!

Also, using the word "cheap" in your request for something unusual can't be the best way to go. And maybe the dude just had a bad day = Only human.

I mean, you tried, you failed, you got an ear-full ... move on.

And ... using "customer" service in the title is pretty funny .. Your friend isn't a customer when he calls up looking for super-cheap and doesn't actually buy.

This wouldn't dissuade me from buying from him.

 
Hey Ant. I think a "B-stock" section on the site wouldn't be a bad idea. Then when people call asking, you can just direct them to the link.
The thing is, we only get b-stock product in every once and a while.

Hardly ever. Maybe twice a year or so.

Most the time we refuse the material and have them remake it for us.

Rare case though.

Yeah I felt like that would be the case. And I figure then people will realize they might as well just pay up, but that there might be a deal on there even if it's only once in a while. Meh just a suggestion. Could be an easier response. "Got any B-stock?"..."If we do it would be listed on our site. Thanks" /Conversation.

 
That would be like someone calling me and wanting to buy damaged shingles.. Then if something goes wrong they will try to come back on me to cover it.. If it happened I do nto blame Ant at all. I doubt it though. I placed and order a month or so ago and then messeged him here to tell him I was ecited to get his products.. He sent me his number and asked me to call him so I did.. He was like you should have called me first I would have givin you some % off depending on the size of the order. He refunded me for the price of one of the cans of adhesive.. He did not need to do anything I had already placed my order and paid.. He did that for no reason at all so to me he's a good dude and I will push his products 100%...

 
There is nothing wrong with asking for a deal. I do all the time!

I am used to customer looking for some sort of hook up.

After all, Second Skin is known for giving out tons of free product and taking care of sponses and such. It is just part of the deal.

If I can, I take care of people. If I am unable to, I let them know. Simple as that.
