well which one i was going to use caulk but i figured caulk would move or crack wasnt sure.then liquid nails are toxic as hell i know that so what else is there will clear silicone caulk work

just get CLEAR caulk, made for windows and tubs and shit. It stays rubbery.

really you should have no use for liquid nails at all. Wood glue for the box, done properly you will never break the joint. Then silicone for a seal inside.
