Sealed Volume Alpine Type R

My current box is a sealed truck box, slanted design, and rounds to about .88 cubic feet. I mounted the type R inverted because my box is not deep enough to fit the type R. So I am using exactly .88 and no less, The recommended box size is 1.25 ft3 For the optimum performance. Would a new box increased in size to 1.25 posibly make the woofer louder, better?

It would give it better low end extension, so it'd be louder down low. A larger box will also make it more efficient, but at the same time lower the mechanical power handling.

Lower the power handling? As in it needs more or less power to power the woofer...

I have a MRP-M500 at 2 ohms for 500rms and on the really low soundless notes it kinda smells... makes me think the box is too small.

it is at 3/4 gain and 0db increase.

just throw some polly fill in the box and you'll be good for box size.

I never thought of poly fill as a good solution to box size, because I never thought it was actually... Room, just a muffle.

I have poly fill in it now and I added little by little and it didn't provide any results.

The only thing I actually need to know now is how to Calculate an Angle?
