anyone else with bb6p wanna conferm this with me. I'm going sealed with the 18 for daily with a removable port for comps. an I want it to be ultra sq daily. and ultra high ported for comps. and so far the **** thing is telling my that to get a gtc sealed anywhere near .707 i'm going to need a 30 cube box. which works out cause if I make a removable panel the ported box ends up being 30 cubes with a 28x30 inch port/hole in it that if as deep ad the baffle (1.5) will be tuned to 48ish.

well if you want ultra sq you want to try sealed. but i dunno i love the sound of them but for that big and powerful of sub i have no idea how it would react

Ill put it this way.

You made a mistake somewhere.

thats what I keep thinking. thats why I want someone else to run the 18xxx through bb6p also. cause in a 4 cube box the qtc ends up being 1.392 whic I do not want as the frequency response looks like a ported box would. i'm also wiring each VC to its own 900w rms amp for anyone who's doing the numbers

Vb = Vas/((Qtc/Qts)^2-1)

Vb = 244.2/((.707/.59)^2-1)

Vb = 560.2L = 19.78ft^3

So, for a Qtc of .707 you'd need an enclosure volume of almost 20ft^3 according to the 18" XXX's specs. Reason the enclosure has to be so large is because of the relatively large Vas and high Qts

squeak for the win!!!! ok so now what do I do. build a 20 cuft box? lol

man i'm gonna have to hear this and check out this box man sound like it's gonna be huge
lol I might have to build a wall for a sealed sub. squeak help me out bro. you know I'm wiring up each VC seperatly to it own amp which throws things off. if I wired them in parralell down to 1 ohm in a heavy stuffed 4 cube box I would get .707, but my amps are only 2 ohm stable
