how good will the 10" se's spl be in a sealed box? i want a sealed because i want som SQ but i still want great SPL. so basically how much SPL will i loose by sealing a 10" se?

oh and also so i dont have to start a new thread: how many watts are in one volt?

(or other way around)

each 10" SE will do nicely in a 2.0 cubic feet box. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

are u sure thats not to big? i jus found the site and it says .5 cubic feet? or is that the minnimum or something?

.5 is minimum..with that box, low-end will suffer and bass response will be boomy. then again..i'm a SQ guy and i like my box (sealed) big so i can get that nice low end and flatter frequency response.

1.5 cubic should be nice too! (SQL possible?)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yeah i want SQ but i also want as much SPL as i can get with a sealed box that is maintaning SQ. if that makes sense?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

yeah i posted all this before that. and now i am wondering what amp i should be looking to get? but i think i might jus go with a jbl 1200.1 do u think that will work?

the JBL 1200.1 would be nice with those subs. just watch for the excursion though. stop cranking the volume to the point where it seems like the sub is reaching its full excursion. with a bigger box, you'll have less mechanical power handling. but the great thing is that you gain efficiency, low end bass, and flatter frequency response.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
