For the most part no it won't matter to much. Odds are what it does affect 90% of everyone will never hear/notice anyway.

Not really, unless you are super SQ. Something like fiberglass boxes with curves don't reflect waves back at each other, iirc. No surface is the same, etc. Was a long time ago when that was explained to me.
