Sealed enclosure help

Does shape matter on a sealed enclosure? Or is the only thing that matters air space?

I'm building a new box and putting it on the side of my blazer, that way I can still lay down my seats and have extra room, etc...

Here is basically what I'm copying.

Except I need to get close to 1.2cf for my fi Q 12 so I'm having to extend it along the wall over the hump.

Thanks for the quick reply. I thought it was ok, but just wanted to double check.
