sealed boxs will give more spl???

i was looking at cardomain and r.f web sites and thay said for street bass that sealed would be beter for spl BUT i allwayes thought that ported was the way to go if you wanted spl??for street?

there arer some sealed boxes that do wonders, but ported in your typical setup will beats the brakes off.

companies recommend sealed boxes because they are easier to build and give more room for error. plus sealed boxes will play all types of music well wheras a ported it all depends on your tuning.
