sealed boxes

I noticed my system lacks a lot of bass-midbass in rock songs,
should I build a sealed box for my 12'' dc lvl 4?

what do you think the frequency range for a sealed would be vs a ported 32.5 hz
Ported enclosures act exactly like a sealed enclosure anywhere above ~1.5 times the tuning frequency. Going sealed isn't going to fix your problem. Try going with a smaller ported enclosure or a better enclosure design.

I used to have 2 12'' kicker cvr's (older model ones) in a sealed box,
my dc lvl 4 doesn't seem to hit the higher notes that the CVR's did.

my lowpass is set a little past the middle (between 30hz and 300hz)

what do you guys think I should do?

raise the lowpass? put it in a sealed box? build a ported box and tune it higher?
Typical FIX!

I would build enclosyre or somehow outyour mids in a sealed box or well sealed door. Small sealed boxes tend to play higher better, which to me is annoying unless its for a mid. Then your mid and low should blend in together.

When I listen to my music it sounds as if I dont have a sub, as though the mids are playing the lows also.

I used to be able to tell the sub was behind me but now lowpass over at around 75hz it seems to blend well.
