SEALED box help (3 10w7s)

You need to measure the maximum dimensions of your trunk or the dimensions you would like. Then see what you get out of those if it's enough or more than enough you just subtract one of the sides till it gives you 1.25 cubes ea. Since you will have 2 spacers subtract 3.0" (using 3/4 mdf) from the length(width if you will), 1.5" from the depth, and another 1.5" from the height. After you subtract those from your measurements multiply your measurements together L*W*H then take that measurement and divide it by 1728 that how many net cubic feet you have. If you have more than 3.75 cuft then you need to subtract a side until you are down to 3.75 cuft then add 3.0" to the length, 1.5" to depth and 1.5" to the height and that's your boxs outer dimensions. You just need to place the walls so that each sub has an even 1.25 cuft to itself.

i can make you a design if you like personally id just do 1 common chamber but if you like 3 seperate i can make a design that way. just need your max dimentions width height and depth

Whoever told you that is a moron. I predict box fail. If a sub burns up then something has really gone wrong. I mean it's jl so there is some fail involved but really. Build it right set the amp correctly watch the volume and gains, and you should be good.

I heard that in a sealed box if you fry one sub it would damage the other unless seperated. Sounds like it could happen if a sub starts smoking it has no where to go.
this is true in any common chamber setup, the enclosure become too big for the remaining subs causing stress and potential failure to the remaining subs. if you have 3 subs in a sealed enclosure of say 4 cubes (1.33 cubes each) and the max for each is 1.8 cubes. if one blows or freezes or whatever, the other 2 will be working in the same enclosure with now 2 cubes each which is larger than the max recommended. same goes for a ported enclosure. it's really a preference thing b/c if the gains and settings are set properly and the box is sealed properly than it really wont make a difference. there is more detail that goes into this, I just don't feel like typing it all.

Sell one W7, and pocket the cash. With the remaining two, build a ported enclosure, and assuming you have a quality amplifier to give those things the power they need, it should be as loud as, if not louder, than the 3 sealed, and it would play stupid low based on your box's tuning frequency.
