sealed box for magnum D2?

help! i want a sealed box for my magnum and i was wondering how big of a difference there would be between a 1.2 cuft box and a 1.5cuft box...if there is a difference, how exactly will they differ..like SQ and SPL? thanks!

Either one will be fine, as Loyd said the difference will be very small. I'd go for the 1.5 ft^3 box if you have the room -- there will be a minimal efficiency gain, although not really audible.

u could go for the bigger box and ivert the sub to squeeze out the most room from ur box.

Hey, im thinkin of 2 magnum d2 in a sealed box...but need help designing the enclosure.

I went to carstero.com, they have conversion charts and enclosure design calculators

so i put in the Qts, Vas, and Fs of the magnum d2 at a qtc of 1.0 and spl of 87 db....

it all ended up in the Vb of 0.216 Feet cube of required enclosure volume!? at a F3 of 68 HZ. is this rite???

help me out, i think the enclosure volume of 0.2 is too small?
