I was running it under the rear passenger seat, the box was spec'd as being 1.0 cubes. I noticed the sub had a lack of output to it, and was completely whiffing on the low notes. So I took it out and measured it all out(which wasn't easy, the shape that box was made to fit under the seat) but I only came up with .48 cu ft before sub displacement! So don't buy the prefab sealed underseat Ram boxes off
Ebay!
Anyways, what I ended up doing, since I like my cubbyhole under the middle front seat, I had Phil Salisbury at Woodlawn Cabinetry make me an armrest box @1.1 cubes for the rear seat. People always *****ed I didn't have a rear armrest, so now I do! He got the actual black fabric my seats are made of and used it on the box, and put some padding on the top. It sits right on the seat above the cupholders. It is downfiring and has little legs it sits on. It is a very very well made box, and it looks and works great. It took him a little longer to do because he had a problem with his wife being ill, and then he felt bad so he only charged $90 shipped instead of the $120 he quoted me.
Those middle console boxes are the ticket providing you don't mind losing that cubbyhole, etc. I didn't want to do all that so I went this route. Bad thing about trucks is that it is hard to get subs in them without giving up some kind of space you will eventually wish you had. With a car, you have a trunk, and no one sees the sub/amp unless you open the trunk. And oftentimes it still leaves you plenty of room, and makes things easier.
I am very pleased with my setup in my Dodge. I would like an ID amp to top off an entire ID install, but my Cadence works just fine for now. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
