Sealed box design help

Hi everyone;

A loooooong time ago I used to work for a car audio joint here in chicago, but I was never involved in the enclosure design phase of things, and I never learned it either, that was the bosses job i guess. So I need some help please if you could.

The subs I chose are 2 Phoenix Gold RSDC104's. I am going to series parallel them into a Phoenix Gold 1200w mono block.

Phoenix's specs recomend a SQ sealed box at 0.382 cu ft per chamber. The car its going into is a 06 ford focus zx3.

Mounting depth is 5.80"

displacement is 0.09 cu ft

Gasket diameter is 10.96"

I need to have the back of the box slanted, so its flush with the back of the seat.

whats the slant degree of the seat and what are your max dimensions

Sorry about that, new I forgot something.

Slant degree is 120

I have a max length of the box at 40"

Max width at 13"

Height unimportant

man thats a small box why not go ported

I guess I could go either way. I got everything but the box. I dont want the subs to sound like A** so I figured I'd go with the recommended specs. But if you guys know different, please tell me. I know it depends on the type of music I listen to also, which is drum and bass, techno, that kind of stuff.
