Sealed 15" L5?

Am i going to be disopointed if i seal my L5. i just wanna make a simple sealed box for it, plus i like the way sealed boxes sound. I have an A8000t to power the sub, im thinking somewhere around 2-3 cubes sealed.bad idea?

I tried a 15l7 sealed at 3.5 sealed and I was not happy at all with it. I am a fan of sealed boxs but not for these kickers maybe l5s are diffrent.

i had a 12 L5 in a 1.5sealed box and i loved it

sealed is fine, as long as you have the power. If you seal it, it'll need more power than ported..

the smallest is 3.0 per driver...

so it needs to be at least 3 to sound good, the manual says 1.5-6^3.i kinda wanna go bigger anyway (around 4^3) just so the box is in proportion to my trunk.

So your saying it would be best to make the box at least 3 cubic feet? And another thing how do i subtract the size of my driver and everything from the box so i know the true size of the box? Thank you

i think im gonna go width-38 hieght-16.5 depth-14 and use 3/4" mdf for a total of 3.9605 cubic feet(without displacement of subwoofer)Does this sound good? let me know what you think please
