Sealed 12" Recomendations

I am pretty new to car audio right now i have a Polk dx12 in a sealed encloser running roughly 150rms. I am looking to upgrade to two twelves in a sealed box i have room for a box that is 1.15 cubic feet per chamber 2.30 total. Looking to spend around 200 per sub was looking at the SA-12s and FI ssd. I will need to get a new amp planing on giving them 600rms each. Any othe recomendations? How will those subs do in a sealed box?

What about 1 12" in a ported box? Any reason why you want to run sealed?

It's very simple. I can help you out if you want. I like the sound of ported boxes, IMO 1 12" ported on 1200w is going to be better that 2 12"s in a sealed box. What kind of bass do you want?

Not sure my polk right now is really sloppy looking for something a little tighter sounding. What sub and box size would you recomend? The car is a 2001 firebird by the way.

A sub I really like that would fit your power would be an Fi Q. I would use all the 2 cubes or so you'd have.

I listen to rap and hip hop so what should i tune it to? And two cubes with or without port?

2 cubes net. I listen to rap as well. I've had a 15" version of this, and they are nice. It was my first sub. I would use all the room you have. What are your max dimensions?

OP, I agree with Buck on the Fi Q. Solid sub that works in both sealed and ported. Sound quality is subjective so don't be afraid to build both boxes and compare the results yourself.

Using the dimensions you gave me, you have about 2.75 cubes before sub and port, that including the space that .75 mdf takes up.
