yea cuz it will still rattle a little but not near as bad. it depends on the car. seal firest then if it rattles, deaden later

kk will do. also, (acura tl 2002) there is a sunroof, how many layers of SS damp should i put around it to stop it from rattling/ possibly breaking a motor mount?

on the roof? it depends on flex again. play a song after u seal it off and see if it flexs more or less.

i just did it. i used cardboard to make a wall like and then foamed behind that. cardboard just keeps it from flatening out

me and a friend just finished his malibu and we sealed it off by making a wall out of mdf then foaming behind that. we also made an amp rack in the trunk so that the foam wouldn't be visible when he popped it open

Make a cover board for your box like i did. It's much better than making a mess with foam or whatever.

it definitely looks nice in his car and is alot louder than before we sealed it off. we had to rig up some fans around the amp tho bc it doesn't get much moving air anymore. other than that it worked out great. only took us about an hour to build everything, not counting waiting for the foam to setup that is, so it doesn't take all that long. we did use about 8 cans of foam tho, mighta been overkill but hell it works
