seal box size for 1-12"CVR w/400 watts

just bought me a single 12" kickr CVR 4ohm DVC. I want to go sealed because of better sound quality. I have a phoenix gold xenon 400.1 amp coming. Can somebody tell me a good box size. The manual says any where from 1-4.6cub ft. it will go in the back of a 96 4dr accord sedan. I talked to a tech dude at kicker and he was recommending a 1.5cu ft. box. and I need as much trunk space as possible...can anybody give me some suggestions...or second opinions.
