SE 12 help!

Ok im pretty sure its the box but maybe you guys can help me anyways! So i have an Se 12 its a dual 4 sub right? Ok so i wired it down to 2 ohms according to RE's sight i think, but it doesnt get loud at all. My amp is a MTX 6500 D that does 775 watts at 2 ohms. Anyways the box i have it in is a 2 12" prefab that you can buy from your local car audio place. So is it my box or did i not wire the sub right? i wired from Positive to positve the negative to negative then hooked the positive up to the positive on my amp and so fourth. and you said its in a pre-fab?

well for starters, 800w is about right... but im going to venture a guess that the pre-fab is quite small. maybe .8ft^3? - driver displacement.

it may just be me, but building a ported baddy @ 30-ish hz with a good 2 or 3 feet^3 would make him wang.

i think 800w is a good amount for you (775 blah blah blah) but the box is a pile of crap.

Well i wired it just like on RE site look under the wiring section and go to dual, and i wired it parral yeah i stuffed all the holes on the box and its sounds alright now but i just a new box i guess!
