Screws for MDF Baffles

Quick question, guys. I'm looking at picking up supplies from Home Depot either tomorrow or Saturday for an install. This is pretty much exactly what kind of baffle I'll be making; bottom plate is 1/2" and ring is 3/4"

Question is, what type and size of screws should I be looking to pick up for the project? I've heard sheet metal screws, but don't know what length. 1"? 1 3/4"? Looking for advice.

Long enough to not go through your car door so 1.5-1.75" long would work.

^1.5-1.7" for the section that's 1.25" thick, you could get away with shorter screws for the thinner layer.

Id use 1" for the 1/2 plate, and for the 3/4 in ring, Id use 1.25-1.50.. the bottom plate will be screwed to the door,secured,/then the baffle should be attatched to the bottom plate, though I would not have more than 1/2 in inside the door panel,.You can use thin self square head self tapping screws for the bottom plate, and wood screws for the baffle.
