I was stopped in GA in my GTO doing 68 through a 55MPH work zone because I missed where it went from 65 to 55 in the work zone. I was nice and so was the cop. I got a warning.

THIS WAS IN GEORGIA FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!

These people are too core to give police the respect they deserve.

I know this...never seen a disc version bust...although I don't see why it couldn't. I would think that in new cars, there is a valve that would keep it from bleeding out the rest of the brakes. Ie, just the front brakes would work if the rears busted...?

Actually you are correct. With ABS there is a computer controlled multi valve setup, so ya it wouldn't work the same as an old drum setup from the 60s lol.

That's disgusting...

It jsut finished raining, and my rear tires were in a small puddle at a stop sign, a cop behind me. As I went, my tires spun (poor traction and no TCS), and I let them spin throughout the turn because a car was coming up and I didn't want to jettison into the incoming lane. I figured it safer to just keep turning with my rear tires spinning (even though the RPM was at 2.5K). Cop threw on his lights, and within 10 feet, I was pulled over. He gave me a ticket for "Careless driving", going 47 in a 30. (This is an automatic V6 Mustang BTW, and I didn't even floor it. There's no way I was going 47.) and the cop gave me shit about my insurance card. It expired 5 days earlier, and it hadn't even come in the mail yet. He kept saying, "You sure this vehicle is insured?" I was being polite but thinking, "Are you dumb? IT WAS FIVE DAYS AGO! What makes you think that from then 'til now I suddenly stopped paying my insurance..."

I just got a brand new phone. Don't have a usb cable for the phone yet & can't figure out how to text them to my email.

And it was Oakland County Sherriffs. We were in Auburn Hills at Rochester Road & Auburn.

I remember freshman year I got stopped in a campus parking lot with a van-full of alcohol for the weekend; I lost the booze but didn't get so much as a written warning. Dumb luck. The tickets I have been written up for I deserved, I know enough when I'm being a leadfoot.

I always give cops respect. Always. I know what they do, and that they risk their lives to try to uphold the peace. I always say "Sir", and if they interrupt me, I shut up. But some are just dicks, and they don't want to hear what you say... and it's honestly really hard to respect someone who doesn't respect you.
