Screen flickers, low sound output.

Hey guys I got an issue with an head unit install in my girl's truck (2013 silverado 1500 crew cab LT). I have the AVH-X5500BHS wired to the Pac Rp4-gm31, Once I got it hooked up I turn on the truck. The headunit comes on but when I started the radio the screen flickers and the sound is cutting out. When I unplugged one set of the rca's it stops and runs normal but it's not loud at all when the head unit is turned up all the way. I reset the headunit and checked the connections all looks good. Any suggestions to help determine if its the headunit or Pac Rp4-gm31?

if its the non bose system you will have to wire it high level and not use the rca's

isn't a LT with a bose? I didn't see any bose logo in the truck. I figured out that the screen act up when the volume is turned up so anything over 29 vol the screen act crazy.

The Pac Rp4-gm31 only has RCA's for the speakers.

I forgot the code number, but you can check inside your glove box to see if you have an amplified bose system.

Well I didn't see anything related to bose in the truck so I decided to cut the rca's off and wire/solder them together. Hopefully that works.
