Scion tC owners . . .

Looks great;

I liked the aluminum doorsills and cf pillars. The 2-piece mats were pretty sweet too. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Er, Refs are for people you've done business with that will vouch for your buying/selling integrity, FWIW. So, since we haven't done any business, you should probably remove me.

Unless you'd like to buy something =-P

Just took a test drive today and wow those things are amazing! I bet the salesman was like WTF when I busted out a tape measure //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif The hatch seems to be big enough to accodate 2 12"s and maybe even 2 15"s. YAYYYYY

Oh yeah, another question. When you bought your Scion, were there any negotiations on the price? The salesman told me that Toyota had moved onto "Pure Pricing" which is basically what it says on the sticker is what it wll cost you. Is that completely true or have you all bargained and gotten the price down a little?

It's possible to bargain on anything that isn't over 30k. They need the sale, so losing a few grand on it won't hurt them too much (especially since they overprice like a *****). If it's above 30 grand, the car is obviously nice enough where you shouldn't be trying to wheedle them down.

Well yeah, that may be for regular pricing, but I was told Toyota now has "Pure pricing" to eliminate bargaining. I need to know if this is BS or not.

If you are in the market for a 30K+ vehicle and are happy to simply pay the sticker price then you sir, are a car salesman's dream catch.

When my mom went to get her '03 Odyssey loaded with every possible option Honda offered for that year model they wanted like 31 or 33 for it, iirc?

After all was said and done she wrote them a check for 21.5K and drove home.

10 large is a pretty good reason to "wheedle them down" in Prowler's book //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

HOLY FVCK! 10k down. No offense, but man, your mom must be HOT //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Oh yeah, I found the answer to my "Pure price" question. Looks like what it says on the sticker is it. . . no haggling for me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Just need to talk them up on my trade-in value of my car. I can't believe they had the balls to offer $1,300 for my car.

No man, think about it. If you're buying like, I dunno, a new Acura TL or something like that, you cannot possibly expect to get more than 1-2k off the sticker. 10k is a retarded amount, but so is 25k+ for a fukin odyssey.

for the scion line, they can lose thier liscence for selling it to you for anything under sticker, instead they give you more for your trade in... or so i have heard, any where from $500-2000 above KBB value is what they're "supposed" to give you

im looking at Xb's myself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

EDIT: ahh sorry, didn't see your post like 2 or 3 up.

Heh, that's alright. But SWEET! $500-2000 above KBB is awesome. I'd be **** happy if I traded in at KBB value not to mention above it. I might try haggling them to lower the finance rates, anyone ever do that?

It really doesnt matter how much the sticker price is.

If the car sells hot you will pay close to MSRP or little more.

If the car doesnt sell well you can pay below invoice.

TC is a hot selling car so i believe not much of a discount.
