o and as far as what happens to us after we die... Energy is neither created nor destroyed. we become part of everything... Do not give me the excuse,"what about our soul" the soul, as of now, is not made up of Matter, is not visible, and cannot be proved (or disproved as of yet) so that is a belief and i will not debate beliefs. what you believe is your right and will not try to persuade you. Everyone needs to belive is something, but do not try to debate beliefs, it will only end up badly

On a serious note I do believe in God, his son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Further more I believe my Prayers and Faith have saved me from a lot of different things.

I do Pray for everyone even my enemies...and I believe everyone has their opinions and I respect them regardless. When its all said and done no one really "Knows" 100 percent whats gonna happen in the end or how we all came to be, but my Faith tells me to believe.

and Well if i die tommorow and nothing happens and im just asleep in the dirt forever...I think id probally laugh a little bit about it.

LOL, thats gotta be one of the funnier things I heard. Well I do feel sorry for ya, thinking that once you die thats it, your just gonna be dirt like what you step on now.
I mean simply put is John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Well, more of a sensible religion would be to live your life to the fullest, so your legacies can live on rather than your soul. Beowulf and the Anglo-Saxons followed that principle. No blind faith and still open-minded.

i don't understand why some here are so angry towards people that believe in a particular religion. Did some religious person violate you or something? Its sad to have such hate built up.

science vs religion in period is not debatable once again... The reason being is that science has nothing to do with religion. Science. as said earlier, is based on predictable, testable theories. (apples) Religion is based on the beliefs and also as said earlier the "describings" of reality. (oranges) If you are saying this topic is debatable you are either a religous person trying void your knowledge of anything that might suggest your religous beliefs may not be spot on to what is really happening or you are just someone with no true religous beliefs and no real scientific background.. Science is neutral any real scientist will not use science to persuade a religous belief that is wrong. Science should only be used to simply inform and not discredit a belief. so if you say this topic is debatable you really need to talk with a real scientist and understand scientific evidence is only to inform not persuade, discredit, falsely credit, etc any sort of religion

But its funny that some discoveries in science contradict the bible. So are you saying these contradictions aren't debatable? Scientific evidence might not have a purpose of discrediting religions, but if the evidence points the other way, then which one do you believe? The one that's been proven through tests and can be retested, or the one that no one has any real proof of?

you don't know a lot of christians, maybe a lot in your area but not a lot relative to how many there are in this country or this world.

I understand how uncomfortable it is it have someone push something on you, but lets not take this personal. And more importantly lets not make a few attempts at evangelism (no matter how poor they were) cause you to stereotype and make ignorant statements. Then you'd be making yourself as bad as the christians you despise so much
