if im correct, i would want a smaller chambered box with a large 8" aero port.

im doing subs up port to the driver side. i peak mad at 60 hz, so ill want to land there.

where should i tune my box to?

subs are two atomics apx 12, 872.

all on a ddm3a at half.

Why you asking for secretes? lol

There are a few different methods for what you want. One of them will work for your application. One way to find out though.... and no there is no designer or builder who can give you the magic setup. Although many of us who have been doing this for many many years can get you very very close.... Books don't help with SPL though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Tuning your box is usually 3-4hz under your vehicle's peak (you'll need a termlab to verify this). Honestly most of it is just testing to see what makes your score go up...

really? because i find for me its 6 hz over my cars peak depending on where the box is. tuning and SPL do NOT go together.

what vehicle
this would help alot

2000 celica

I was at the minor peak previously, now Im going for the high peak at 60-1hz.

Sorry about that. I've been told by a previously celica Spl competitor firing subs up port to driver side gets loudest.

Just dont know where I should be tuning to and if I should use 2 6" aero or an 8

subs up port back or subs forward port back in hatches.

Single port in a small chambered enclosure. Make sure you do some testing with a small sub and port build similarly. You can move it around and test it to see how it performs.

Odds are you will want to have sub up and the port angled to one side or the other.
