so i put my xbox 360 for sale on craigslist here in orlando. get a response asking is the 360 still available and to get back to them asap. i email them back, and i get this in return

the item or pay for it in cash,that is why i brought up this idea

though i am a united states citizen,but am in Uk for a research i am

willing to buy this item as soon as possible,However am buying this

for a friend who is in need of this item , i would appreciate if you

allow me to pay through

paypal and i will add $200 as shipping cost..However if you don't have

paypal account you can just log on to paypal.com and set up an

account it is free easy and secure to pay and receive money through

paypal.get back to me asap.

.....prettttttttty sure its a scam.

giving them the benifit of the doubt. IF i were to accept the payment via paypal and they paid by charging to a card, then they could do a chargeback and get thier money back causing my paypal to go into negative funds even though ive withdrawn the cash.

my question is what if they dont charge it to a card and it is cash int hier paypal account. could they send me payment, i have them wait for it to clear to my bank account and i have cash in hand before sending. is there anyway for them to get thier money back from me outside of filing a claim which would do nothing if the funds are already out of my account....?

seems too fishy to me, wtf is someone in the UK doing browsing for xbox 360's on the orlando craigslist?

A U.S. citizen would not play around like this. Especially a U.S. citizen living in the U.K. RIGHT???? especially where anyone in the UK,, more particularly US citizens are making more money. If you are a us citizen living in the UK.. where do you buy your gear... THERE... and even if you dont... you definately know how to speak english ehough to do a simple craigs list deal.

When i was living in the UK. SWEDEN. HOLLAND,,,, i found that in some cases it was cheaper and in my best interest to have certain consumer electronics goods brought to me by friends, colleagues and family to where i was living.... in other circumstances i wound it cheaper to buy them there..

THE DOUCHE BAG THAT SENT YOU AN AD.... which you were stupid enough to even question, has scammed so many people,, you would not even believe.

More than likely he is from, Kenya, Tanzania, Sudan Nigeria, Morocco, etc....

Think a bit for yourself before you challenge the brains of CA.com to baby you around on a deal like this..
