Paypal me at sundownz@sundownaudio.com to Pre-Order!

The current ETA is around May 11th to May 20th -- this is a rough estimate. As always, with a pre-order the ETA is subject to change based on shipping delays, etc, etc.

We are expecting around 3800 on a 12v electrical system from these and over 6000 on a 16v electrical system

They feature 33% more output FETs than the current 3000D... a quad transformer setup (more efficient)... and solid core wire output inductors (more reliable)... among other minor changes we made to enhance reliability.

These will have the "new style" SAZ casing and the width is the same as the current SAZ amps. It is around 2.6" longer than the current SAZ-3000D.

yah maybe at .25 ohm for a split sec with 0 impedence rise.
The 3000D can do a bit over 5k on 16v already - this one should top 6k on 16v.

In my Jeep I was seeing 4590 per 3000D at 0.6 dB under my top score from each 3000D... measured power was at 154.3 and it could do 154.9 with that setup. Measured about 5 seconds in to a burp as well with my True Power clamp meter //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Using my Extech 380976 that measured voltage and current at the same time and reads out a "true power" figure in my measurement.

We had measured ~5.2 kw in another vehicle (my testing posted on the SSA forum) - rise was to 0.87 ohms.

you cant please everyone i think this will be a better amp personally more power more reliable (not that it needed it) and everyone wants bigger amps so now they get it there will always be 3ks for sale used and refurbished so if you really want one you can still get it i think its a move in the right direction

And this sounds like its going to be quite a beast. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Indeed it will - I'm pretty excited to be offering it.
