SAZ-1500D @ .5 ohm

I'm using my 1500d to run two dual 2 ohm Z 15's I'm trying to set my amp gains. Anyone know the RMS power at .5 ohms?

unless you have a high output alt and several deep cycle battery's I would go for rated power at 1 ohm so you don't burn up the amp if your going for daily that's a good amount of stress to put on a amp tuning for max power with a unknown voltage system and only a digital multi meter.

That amp will play fine at .5 as long as you have a good charging system. I would say around ~2300 @ .5 but it all depends on voltage/imp rise.

I have done "the big three" in 2/0. I have a red top under the hood, and a datasafe hr500 in the back. I also have two different voltage meters, and I do not allow it to drop below 12 volts. Jacob at Sundown said I should be fine with my electrical set-up. I really just do not understand imp. rise etc. The Z15's are rated at 1000 watts RMS, so am I safe to use 2000 watts as my power? The 1500 will not "clip" at 2000 watts into .5 ohms? If it will do more, and the subs will take it, then I would like to. I just do not want to blow the subs or the amp.
