Saz-1200d runnin .5 for Jacob!

Okay Jacob I really need to know if the 1200d will handle .5 on what I got and will be adding.

06 Silverado

-145 amp alternator

-Red Top 1000

-Will be adding Audio Technix Big 3 1/0 and 1/0 Amp kit

-I have a Dual 1 Z v.3 in a kerf ported console box 2.024 internally and 2.78 overall tuned to 33hz

Right now on all stock except the Red top I hold 15.40 volts so with the Big 3 should be a lot better

Will the saz-1200d be okay to run .5 daily? would love to have saz-1500 but im not waitn till april 30th bc of backorder.

Every saz series amp ive ever seen or run will handle .5. all day on good electrical..so i dont see why the saz1200 wouldnt

How are you sitting at 15.4 volts on all stock? Is the red top under the hood or in the rear? Id keep a good size battery in the rear, but you should be fine at .5 ohm. Also, I believe you'll lose your warranty if you run below 1 ohm.

Yea his volt meter must be off.and he didnt set it ...and if u have to run .5 i would just buy a used saz1500 thy are everywhere ..instead of.wasting.money and warranty on brand new amp

stock at 15.4 sounds like the alt is at its full charging cappacity since your battery is dying

Should be able to run @.5 on great electrical. Wouldn't strap two of then though from experience.

Thanks for the opinions. Actually your right I havnt touched my volt-meter, it says im at 15.8 but with my greenlee meter is says 15.40 when im checkin my power strait to the amp. if you want me to post a picture I will.

I had an Alpine MRX-100.1 on the z v.3 before running at 2 ohms which is max power on that amp. How do you think the saz would do at 2 ohms? would it be enough?
