Are you also saying that back in the day anyone that bought a stand alone DVD player was retarded because they should have bought a PS2 instead.PS3 is 100 dollars more than any other blu ray player and has 3x the capabilities of a standard blu ray player , //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif If your going blu ray you'd have to be retarded to not buy the ps3![]()

Just because a machine performs MANY tasks doesn't mean it does them all WELL.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
What if I don't play games and have no interest what so ever in the playing of games?the ability to play games, durr.
Yes, they did that. Had to update the firmware.Did they even bother doing the updates? You do know these players need updates to play certain movies and use certain features. You have to hook it up to the internet or burn them to a disk.
Why?If your going blu ray you'd have to be retarded to not buy the ps3![]()
That is EXACTLY what I was thinking. Why?
I don't play games...have no need for a game console...why should I buy something I don't plan on using?
Not even for Halo 2?That is EXACTLY what I was thinking.
Who cares if it plays games. I wanted to get a 360 to play Halo 3, but them I remembered how much I played my original xbox... NEVER...
Never bought Halo 2, just played Halo 1 which came with the Xbox. Not even for Halo 2?
My projector is known for being noisy and its mounted right above my head, and if the tv stands window is open for the ps3 I can hear the ps3 allot more then my projector and the ps3 is about 14 feet from me...the ps3 a loud blu-ray player? I have watched many movies, played many games, and i still think the ps3 is an amazing machine.
Its very quiet, and I'm a launch buyer, my 60 gig one is pushing strong, no errors ever.
My 360 on the other hand, must have the surround sound on so I don't hear it chuggin away with its vacumm like fans. Even w/ teh dvds. An I just got it last month, the HDMI premium one.
Ne ways, Im hoping blu ray wins out, but its not like i invest much into what format wins.
I couldn't imagine a PS3 being much louder than a 360. I know of two that sound like jet planes ready to take off when the start up.My projector is known for being noisy and its mounted right above my head, and if the tv stands window is open for the ps3 I can hear the ps3 allot more then my projector and the ps3 is about 14 feet from me...
