same box size,same tunning fq, differant designs

Well the new sub im gonna get hopefully is an RE Sx 12"

I was looking in the construction section and found some box designs

my question is, there are two differant boxes. Both are the same size and are tuned to the the same frequency but the port sizes are differant and woofer location is differant

would there be any differance in sound? I know most bass is felt rather than heard, so which would be best?

this is just for daily,

not really looking to compete

just for my daily drive to work and the weekends

spl guys will say go with the larger port and I say it makes no difference for a DD.

realistically you will not hear any change between the two with daily power and music.
