And yes people can make "fake" Postal money orders!! I've had plenty of my friends receive the fake money orders in the mail, and go and cash them at the bank and end up getting arrested for counterfeit money orders. So the safest way still stands as Paypal!

Do you actually read posts before you reply? I said take the PMO and CASH IT AT THE POST OFFICE!!! Since the person is sending him payment, via money order, if it's fake or anything he won;t have sent his equipment out. Obviously you have never had a buyer lie to PAYPAL and get their money refunded over BS. I had a buyer blow one of my amps when he got it, send me an email stating that he did so, but tell paypal a couple of weeks later that he got it blown, and they made me refund his money, until I found his original email to me about blowing the amp. All-in all, PAYPAL is NOT the safest way to send money period.

If I cash it at the post office, how do I let it clear my bank?

If you cash it at the PO, that's it.........you will have CASH in hand.

Have him send it to you Western Union or Money Gram. It cost a few $$$, but it is cash in hand.

X1000............That guy doesn't know what the hell he is talking about. I have had MANY transaction on EGAY where I only accepted POSTAL MONEY ORDERS. Never got a fake 1. Anywayz, if they were to send a fake 1, I wouldn't ship out their item.
