Safe listening volume?

Well, if the average volume is below 100db, you should be fine. Occassional peaks above that are ok, as long as it's not constant. Some people would say up to 120db on a daily basis is alright, but that's fairly loud to listen to constantly.

Well OSHA has said listening to 100db for 2 hours will begin to cause hearing problems.

over 120 db which most cars are is bad after a period of a burp.

So in most cases you'll just have to learn your limits and if it starts to ring...turn it down.

If it starts getting faint sounding and your not low in the RPMS' then dont turn it louder to comphensate...turn it down instead.
