Safe For Subs?

I have a ported box for 2 10" Type-R subs. It is (LxDxH) 29.5"x15.5"x16". I also have 3 3"x13" ports. Is this safe for my subs? Hz Tuning? I'm stuck so hopefully this box will do nicely

i calculated this. if the specs of the box you gave were outer dimensions. then your box without any displacement was 3.28 round to 3.3. probably .2 cubic feet displacement for each sub which is .4 for both plus approx .2 cubic feet for port displacement .this gives you 2.7 cubic feet total and 3 3 by 13 inch ports would tune your box right around 37 hertz. this is approx give or take a few but even for tens this seems tuned a bit too high for everyday driving. you would probably be ok though if you dont give them too much power and listen for distortion or anything else you should not hear.

I just wanted to make sure I dont blow my subs. I usually listen to alot of rap and alot of music has some pretty heavy bass....is it ok...and by the way the box is tuned to 34 hertz. Would polyfill make a difference on making it more safe or less safe. Thanks

Add polyfill to sealed enclosures. Ported boxes need accurate internal volume to work as planned.
