I have an sa12 in a 2.0cf custom aero port box and an aq750 amp set with a dmm. My problem is the sub isn't at its full potential loudness wise unless I set my deck on super bass equalizer setting but is this ok to do? I've got it wired at 1 ohm and also have the sub level at +6 and if I don't have the equalizer on the deck on super bass the sub barely flexes. I'm using rockford fosgate 4g wire so its not a lack of power.

maybe gain needs turned up on amp. what size aero are you using whats tuning.

3" aero tuned to 34hz but if I turn the gains up the remote on the amp clip light flashes when I turn up the volume. with all the settings up on the deck ir doesn't clip. I used to have rf p1's on a pos power akoustic amp and scosche wiring kit and had the sub level at -6 and they punded way harder

that aero is way too small you need a 6" aero your choking the sub but putting a bigger aero will shrink the box and change all the specs and could negatively effect your tuning your wanting.

You're positive you have the sub wired at the correct impedance?

Thanks ill look into altering it but the sub doesnt even move without the equalizer set to super bass like not even enough to distort the logo on the dust cap. Thanks for the replys. And yea neg to one vc and pos to other vc and pos to pos neg to neg

Umm cant really understand that but im assuming u have a d2 u need to parallel it down to 1 ohm which would basically be all pos together and all neg together
