3 is a sealed 1cf box yeah but you will not get a box that sounds to good

Too small ported... would work sealed. The reason I don't suggest sealed is you will lose low-end response as these were optimized for ported. You could EQ it up a bit as these have a good bit of throw and be fine, though, if you have that flexibility.

I bought two DD 1508 to compare T/S specs to... the DD 1508 is WELL broken in as it is used.

BL^2/RE: 89.5 / 42.26

BL^2/RE is an indication of static motor strength. Since BL doesn't tell you how strong a motor is without knowing the DCR this measure allows you to compare speakers with different DCR to each other.

Had ALOT of people asking me how they compare to the 1508. If the cut-out of the 1508 works in my box I may try them in there as well.

I am not quite sure if my current box will work as we actually got the hole a little too big for the SA-8 and the DD is even smaller.

Derrick is going to help me with a second box with a tighter cut-out this time and the DD may seal up with tape in that one. But I don't want to break them *laughs* since I plan to re-sell them when I'm done playing.

The SA-8 is a hair over 6" and the 1508 is right at 5"

sounds like 4 of those in a 4 cube box(after port displacement) would do good with 2500D, correct?

I'm seriously considering this set up as it got sick prices!

Started out tuned around 40 or so (high 140s)... then I cut the port down until I hit my vehicle resonant peak of 53 Hz to get the 150.
