Actually, that is very dependent on the install, this is not a cut and dry answer.

I think the 2500s will be louder, but the SSDs will have more SQ. How much power are you running?

Personally, I would run the DD 2500s.

2500 easily.....just give it 800 to 1kw witj at least 2 cubes tuned from 28 to 34...

We just finished doing and SPL setup in my wifes mustang with two 2515's did a 151.8 in the kick.

i'd say DD im nothing but satisfied with my 9515g on one saz1500d @1ohm subs not even broken in yet and i have another saz1500d waiting to be strapped @ 1ohm

running 1500RMS @ 1ohm (just received my second amp so that will be 1500RMS per sub when I upgrade my SUBS.

Upgrading my alt to a 300a iraggi HO Alt

throwing a hc2400 in the hatch connected to my hc1400 under the hood. Probably wont isolate the trunk battery.

So I guess my ceiling is 1500rms per sub.

I really want to remove the back seat and throw in a larger custom box with maybe 2 15's. But im not sure yet. Will finish upgrading my electrical then take a step towards what subs to get. From what I hear, I can't go wrong with DD's. Interested in Fi Q's also. Ive never heard DD subs in person but I have heard some BTL's and they were pretty amazing.

Currently running 2 type R 12's. Pretty impressive SPL for the price. Plus the subs seem to be built to last. I don't even know that I "need" to upgrade, but installing shit is addictive.

just picked up 2 Fi SSD 12's with flatwind coil and no BP option for 115 each off craigslist. They are in perfect condition and they work.

running them off of a t10001bd birthed at 1580RMS @ 1ohm. Havent installed yet, but was wondering about power. Should I be giving them a couple 100rms over rated? or is the 750-800 good enough to get decent performance out of them?

putting them in 2 separate 2cu ft boxes tuned to 33hz

Do you think inverting them for extra cubes would reduce spl and SQ?
