SA 12 Rattle

Have a 7 month old SA 12 Chrome back magnet with a non coil related rattle.
Picking up the sub and shaking or just rotating it you can hear something metallic moving around.
coil still looks new and cone moves full travel without and noise
Ohms out 2.2 and 2.3
any ideas what Could be wrong

Wiggle the terminals to see if a spring has become weak. If that is ok, then face sub down on the floor and look into the vent hole. If anything is in there, it should rest on the dust cap center. If something is in there, roll a piece of tape as if about to hang a poster and tape it to the tip of a pencil or straw and operate. Good luck.

Nothing is in the vent or gap. This is under the spider and outside the coil from the sound it makes and is loose but not really floating around.

The winding may have come undone from the former even a little bit would have an wefect/noise

I do not believe it is a metal piece, it would stay put with the magnet. Under the spider, I can only assume a plate holding nut, but again, metal.

It is on its way back to sundown now maybe they will tell me when it gets there.
whatever it is sounds metallic but not ferrous

Does the cooling vent have a screen? If not, maybe something fell in there.

Do these subs have "shorting rings"?
