How do you go about in fighting it?

The mailed citation should have an appearance date on it. Show up that day to the assigned court.

Intersection with a traffic signal camera.

If you are in the intersection while the light turns red, it is a ticket able offense. Yellow means prepare to stop, not continue threw the intersection.

You can ask any local PD for that exact answer. Give them a call.

We've got a few places with cameras here in TN...Never been caught though.But heres an interesting fact...The company that installs the cameras gets a cut of the fine you pay.Wonder how many cameras have the timing set to take the picture before the light is red?hmmmmm.

Here in MN you can't get a ticket for going through a yellow.

her in oklahoma, yellow means the light is about to turn red, so unless you are already in the middle of the intersection or it is not safe to stop. you should be stopping.

I have been through many yellow lights in my day here in Ohio and had cops see me go through like that. Not once did they ever stop me. I guess being caught on camera would be different, but we do have a local place near us that has cameras at a busy intersection and they have had so many problems that they ended up taking out they system, lol!

Just to take a load off, not every vehicle flashed gets a ticket, they do not have 100% accuracy so just wait in the mail.

The yellow lights here in cali are really long so most people either speed up or just keep going. Majority are 5sec, but there is always that 1 second left turn that you can never make.
