Running yellow light illegal in California?

no your screwed if the light turn red when you were halfway though the intersection your going to get a ticket by mail. its 370 it think my dad did the same thing and they send him the ticket about 2 weeks later.

Looks like I am out of luck then. So it's a special case then for intersection only?

Do camera tickets put points on your liscense over there? If not, I don't think there's much to worry about. I would be more concerned about insurance than a ticket anways...

its kind of weired the same thing happened to my friend and he had to pay the ticket plus go to traffic school. my dad he just paid the ticket and it dident say that he had to go to traffic school. i don't think the insurance went up though.

I think it does put points on your license.

I just hope that the rule is not different regarding intersection.

maybe not in Colorado but in cali they do give you a ticket. Its a b*tch when you go to one of those intersections and and your not sure to go because you might get a ticket. One thing i learned is to check the symbol of the crosswalk if its the walk sign go, if the hand is flashing go but step on it and if its just the hand don't go its about to turn red.

i dont know i guess sometimes you get lucky then. but i was with my dad when we crossed the yellow light and it turned red when we were in the middle of the intersection. The camera took a picture and we got a ticket 2 weeks later. This happen last year.
