Running wires into doors??

I'm having a hard time trying to squeeze the wires into the factory boot that covers the wiring.

The plugs that connect the door to the car are all full (power this and that) and I just can't see a way of getting the new wires in there(14 AWG x2 per door). '97 Cadillac Catera

What do you guys do in such a case ??

Is there a way to run the wires out side of the boot without it looking ghetto ???

I'm not really sure what you are exacty saying, but could you drill a new hole, grommet it and wrap er' up and call it good................//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

That is exactly what I was going to do.

The boot(black rubber cover) that runs from the pillar to door has a plug at the door end.

That plug is there to make door removal easy but it's full, as in no spare pin locations.

I would love to be able to run my wires through there but I don't see that happening.

That is why I asked the "pros"(that would be you guys), I don't want a messed up install.

The drilling holes and grommet idea would be easy to do but is it the best way ???

it's not gonna sound any different drilling your own holes so why not do that then?
because I was hoping to avoid having visible wires even though they would only be visible when the door would be open.

The stock wiring is some major small junk (I don't even think it's a full 18AWG) and it only has one pair per door.

I wanted to keep my xovers under the dash because I'm worried about moisture from the summer rains there fore I would need 2 pair of wires.
